Yes. Stellarvision is built around the assumption that many users watch more than one property — a vacation home plus a primary residence, a small portfolio of rentals, or every client property a homewatch company looks after. Add as many properties as you need; cameras from different brands at different sites all show up in the same dashboard.

Yes. Vacation rental hosts use Stellarvision to spot over-occupancy or parties, monitor post-checkout activity (so you know exactly when a guest leaves), and watch multiple rentals from one app. Alerts are tuned to ignore normal coming and going during a stay and only flag the situations you care about. Always disclose camera locations to guests in your listing, in compliance with platform rules and local law.

Absolutely — this is one of our primary use cases. Manage every client property from one dashboard, verify that scheduled service visits actually happened (and at the right time), and flag unauthorized entry on properties that should be empty. Today, Stellarvision works with Ring, Vivint, and Arlo cameras. You sign in with your existing camera account — there's no new hardware to buy or install. We're actively adding support for more brands; if your cameras aren't on the list yet, open a support ticket and we'll tell you when they will be.

Stellarvision is designed for Amazon Fire TV Stick (so you can keep an eye on the house from the living room) and your phone (so you can check in from anywhere). You don't need both — pick whichever fits your daily routine.

Alerts are configurable to your situation. Examples: a profiled family member leaving the home alone (caregivers); any motion at a property that should be empty (homewatch / vacation properties); too many people present compared to expected occupancy (rentals); arrival of a scheduled service visit, or its absence. You always choose which alerts you receive, on which devices (push, SMS, or both), and you can pause them anytime.

During setup, you privately profile the family members you want Stellarvision to watch for — usually the person living with dementia. Our AI then watches your camera feeds in the background. When it sees that person stepping outside the home and no other family member is with them, it sends you a push notification and SMS within seconds, including a photo. You can confirm everything is fine or tap to escalate.

You decide ahead of time which neighbors are part of your safety circle and what they're comfortable being told. If Stellarvision sends you an alert and you don't respond within a short window, it sends those neighbors a message with the photo, your phone number, and a short medical context note (for example: "Please be gentle — Mary has Alzheimer's and may be confused"). Neighbors are opt-in and can leave the circle at any time.

Privacy is foundational to how Stellarvision works. Profiles of family members live with your account and are used only to recognize the people you've chosen to watch for. Camera feeds remain under your existing Ring, Vivint, or Arlo account — we connect through their official permissions, never copying or storing your full video library. Neighbors only receive what you've explicitly approved them to receive, and only when an unanswered alert escalates.

No. Stellarvision is a best-effort assist — it helps you and your trusted circle respond faster, but it is not a substitute for emergency services or professional medical care. If you believe a loved one is in immediate danger, please call 911 (or your local emergency number) right away. Stellarvision can run alongside professional medical alert services; it doesn't replace them.
